Marilee Fini, M.A. CCC/SLP is a certified and licensed speech pathologist in Cleveland, OH runnin her own private practice, MLF Speech Therapy. She graduated from John Carroll University with a B.A. in Communications in 1991 and graduated from Kent State University with a M.A. in Speech Pathology in 1993.
She has a wide variety of experience of treating speech and language disorders in children and adults. She has received additional training and has vast experience in the treatment of stuttering.
Marilee also works with business professionals on effective public speaking and communication skills. In addition, she is a professor and teaches Public Speaking courses at Lakeland Community College.
For over 20 years, Marilee has been a professional speaker, presenting for seminar companies, hospitals, schools, speech associations and other agencies mostly on speech pathology topics. Currently, she delivers presentations to corporate audiences on such topics as Public Speaking and Communications as well as motivational topics. Marilee has great passion for public speaking because this was something she deemed impossible most of her life due to her stuttering. Through hard work, determination and faith she was able to overcome obstacles to become an effective public speaker. She brings positive energy, passion and humor to all her speaking events!
Lastly, Marilee was awarded the “Annie Glenn National Leadership Award - Best Practices in Speech-Language Pathology” given to her by The Ohio State University Department of Speech and Hearing Services in recognition for excellence in leadership in the field of Speech Pathology.
